Supply Squirrel was founded with the goal of making back to school shopping easier. The idea for Supply Squirrel was hatched after hearing from Josh's wife (an elementary school teacher) about the complaints of many parents not being able to find specific supplies on their child's school supply list. This problem occurred because the supplies were not carried by the stores that parents visited or they were sold out of the items that parents needed. Time and money was wasted driving to different stores and dealing with the back-to-school crowds for already picked over supplies.

Supply Squirrel is meant to end this frustration by doing your school supply shopping for you, while finding the best deals on brand name supplies, and providing them in one package. We are able to achieve this combination of great quality at a low price by buying supplies in bulk at the lowest price we can find. We package the supplies according to your school's supply list and ship it right to your door.

Your online experience with us is meant to be simple and streamlined. We accomplish this by listing the school districts we focus on right on our homepage along with pop-outs of specific elementary schools. You just choose your school and supply package by grade, and a detailed listing of supplies included in the package is shown. We want you to have all the information you need and a simple, convenient experience along the way!

In addition, we will donate 10% of sales to each individual schools' students, to that school's PTA or PTO if they agree to work with us! We see this as a win win situation as we can give back to the school and the community, which provides needed funds for the PTA or PTO, while helping to guide parents and students to our site.
